UPDATE: Demi Lovato stable and responsive after an Overdose

American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato, (25) was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles just before noon after suffering apparent overdose. Her spokesperson has officially made a statement on her condition last night confirming she's awake and more clarity on what happened inside the house has surfaced.
The TMZ report on the ‘’Sorry Not Sorry’’ singer has shaken the world up yesterday. Demi Lovato would have overdosed on heroin and has been taken to the hospital after receiving Narcan treatment at her home. However, PEOPLE immediately slammed TMZ’s report saying she had not used heroin, coming from a close source to the singer.
Last night an official statement on Lovato’s condition came out from her official representative who spoke to NBC News. Saying she's in a stable condition and confirming incorrect statements have been published.
"Demi is awake and with her family who wants to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy.", says Lovato’s spokesperson to NBC News.

Weekly just reported on what went down at Lovato's house on Tuesday. A close source to Lovato confirmed Demi Lovato was having a party at her home with friends on Monday night. Two of them were there when the incident occurred. They found the 25-year-old singer and handled fast calling 911 and using Narcan treatment which reversed the overdose and saved her life.
As the paramedics arrived they were found in a hysterical state and Demi was still unconscious.
“One of her friends had Narcan on hand in case something like this happened. Her friends knew this was coming because she’s been using so much again.’’ , the source tells Weekly
