The world shaken up by sudden death of Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce, who has passed away due to an ongoing medical condition. The actor became 20 years old.
Cameron Boyce American actor born May 28th, 1999 best known for his roles in Disney’s Descendants and films like Mirrors, Eagle Eye, Grown Ups and his role as Luke Ross on the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie. Has passed away on Saturday morning due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition which he was being treated for.
Boyce made his first television debut in early 2008 featuring in Panic! At The Disco’s music video “That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)“ starring as a kid version of guitarist Ryan Ross. He later grew to fame with his role in Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 alongside Adam Sandler.
Boyce started his Disney career as ‘Luke Ross’’ in Disney Channel’s series ‘Jessie’ together with Debby Ryan, Skai Jackson, Karan Brar and Peyton List.
In 2015 Boyce started on Disney Channels’ Descendants trilogy portraying one of the leading roles as Carlos son of Cruella de Vil of 101 Dalmatians with co-stars Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart who have yet to break their silence on their friend’s passing. The third and last movie Descendants 3 is set to be released next month.
Director Kenny Ortega spoke out about the passing of the young actor on his Instagram saying, ‘’My Love, Light and Prayers go out to Cameron and his Family. Cameron brought Love, Laughter and Compassion with him everyday I was in his presence. His talent, immeasurable. His kindness and generosity, overflowing. It has been an indescribable honor and pleasure to know and work with him. I will see you again in all things loving and beautiful my friend. I will search the stars for your light. Rest In Peace Cam. You will always be My Forever Boy!’’.
Boyce spokesperson earlier confirmed to ABC News that the cause of his death was due to an ongoing medical condition. "It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," a spokesperson said on behalf of the Boyce family. "He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother."
