Camila Cabello's debut solo album ‘CAMILA’ officially received its platinum certification, four months after its release! The 21-year-old pop star thought it was a joke when she received the news and shared it with disbelief on social media last night.
While taking over the stages on the ‘Never Be The Same’ tour Camila Cabello is setting some new records. Earlier this month her hit single ‘Never Be The Same’ received a platinum certification and now her full album went platinum. CAMILA is also the first album to receive that title this year.

Camila got so overwhelmed by the news she couldn’t believe it was real ‘’Is everyone in on this prank that Ashton Kutcher is playing on me ?,’’ she tweeted referring to Ashton Kutcher's show PUNK’D on MTV where he features pranks on celebrities. MTV reacted and quickly confirmed that this is real life to Camila.
After an emotional roller coaster, she returns and shares she never expected it to happen.
''Never in a million years did i think this would happen right now and I’m not just saying that..... I never ever expected this- making this album changed my life and it means so much to me that you guys love it.. JESUS I AM OVER. WHELMED. WOW WOW,'' she tweets.
