After a high fan demand, British pop Queen Dua Lipa, (22) surprised everyone with a French version of her latest hit single ''IDGAF''. As the singer released the song earlier this week through social media, she also hinted at a collaboration with her favourite French rapper Maître Gims.

One year ago Dua Lipa came out with her self-titled debut album featuring the hit single ‘’IDGAF’’, with over 500 million streams one of her most popular songs at the moment. A favourite among the French audience, leading to the high demand for a French version from her fans, which didn't go unnoticed. The singer responded to her loving fans with ‘’Your wish is my command’’, as she released the French version.

The pop star took her single into the studio and gave it a Frenglish twist. You can hear Dua sing French parts in the pre-chorus as the chorus remains the same.

The version has now solely been released on YouTube, but if it is up to the fans, the single will have to be available everywhere.

The singer tweeted, ‘’To all my French loves, I have just recorded a version of IDGAF on which I sing in French aahhh! There is also a version with Maître Gims, my favourite rapper. I hope I can play it very soon!’’ along with a snippet of the song and a link to the offcial audio.

If you think that was it, you’re wrong the singer has more surprises for her French fans coming up. She also announced to be working on a version of the song together with her favourite rapper Maître Gims which has yet to be released.

The French rapper and producer from Paris, Gandhi Djuna, who goes by the stage name 'Maître Gims' is best known for his music group 'Sexion d'Assaut' and his latest release ‘’Corazon’’ with French Montana and Little Wayne.
